5 Interior Design Blogs you really should be reading

I love interior design blogs, not only for the endless inspiration they can bring from seeing photos of beautiful properties to different perspectives on trends. I love them all - even ones that have totally different styles from my own.  Don't worry this isn't just going to be another list with Mad About the House and Swoonworthy in because I know when I've hunted for new bloggers to follow I've seen those sorts of lists a million times now to!

Skirtingboards & Chandilers

I met the author of the Skirtingboards & Chandeliers blog Donna at London Design week earlier this year, at the Style Library showroom in Chelsea Harbour, where we ended up having a really interesting chat about William Morris and how maximalist patterns can be used in minimalist homes. Her passion for interior design shines out her blog and her writing is so engaging you will end up falling down the rabbit hole of room inspiration. If you're looking for beautiful room styles in real life properties then this blog is for you, her DIY decor tips are great and can de be recreated in your home. Her photography and styling is just swoonable!

Natalie Holden

Fellow scouser Natalie Holden is an interior designer with a serious sense of style, her chic and classic interiors are properly showstopping. Her blog is an honest look inside her creative mind, talking about everything from her journey leaving her full-time job to behind the scenes looks into where design ideas come from.  I love her use of cool neutrals and bright colours, meaning all of her images have a beautiful richness to them that just draws you in.

Tea With Ruby

This blog is just pure aspirational beautiful images, in minimal style and rich earthy neutral tone it just envelopes you in gorgeous style. Every image has a textural feel and the honesty of the writing is so refreshing. This blog always makes me feel so calm and inspired to go out an buy linen and dried flowers. This is a blog to sink into while drinking a good hot chocolate while wearing a chunky knit jumper.

Check out her Pinterest if you really want to lose a day - https://www.pinterest.co.uk/teawithruby/

Coco Lapine Design

http://cocolapinedesign.com/

Coco Lapine Design is a blog where Munich based interiors obsessive and designers Sarah Van Peteghem shares everything that inspires her...
Sarah's blog is just everything that I love, it is so classy and clean - beautiful crumpled linens contrasting against smooth grey walls and earthy midcentury furniture. Interiors porn right there! You can see the Belgian influence all over this blog with a very European feel to the interior spaces she shares.

Which blogs are you reading, I always love to find new inspirations!
